УЛААНБААТАР ХОТЫН НАРИЙН ТООСОНЦОРЫН БОХИРДЛЫН ТАРХАЛТЫГ ЗАГВАРЧЛАХ СУДАЛГААНЫ ҮР ДҮН

In recent decades, Ulaanbaatar city air pollution is turning into a serious issue which is influencing citizens’ health. Even though Mongolian government is introducing briquettes in order to decrease air pollution, Ulaanbaatar city households are burning briquettes intensively early in the morning and the night, and air pollution is still higher than tolerance. So, this study aims to map peak PM2.5 (fine particle) pollution of the day. Land Use Regression model was used and its determination coefficient is R2=0.5506 and Adjacent R2 = 0.5313. Also, in order to validate LUR model, Leave One Out Cross Validation (LOOCV) technique is used and it evaluated that R2 = 0.49, RMSE= 402.779, MAE= 293.6. From these results, this LUR model performance is moderate (determination coefficients are ≈0.5) and in order to improve the model, there is a requirement to add novel statistically significant independent variables.
